Panasonic Lumix LX5 Digital Camera – Friday Night and the Lights Are Low

Panasonic Lumix LX5 Camera

“Hot shoe for easy accessorization” isn’t exactly what this dancing queen expected, but I guess I’ll take the Panasonic Lumix LX5 for its outstanding low light capabilities anyway…

I now have both the Canon s90 and the Panasonic Lumix LX5, the two MVPs on the same (depth of?) field. (*ew* Yes, I made that joke.)

I’ve been using the Canon s90 for the last six months, and highly recommend its hotter, younger, i.e. “newer,” sister the Canon S95 if you’re in the market for an excellent camera in the $300-$400 range. My photos here on TheDeliciousLife don’t do justice to its potential in the right hands.

I wanted the LX5 to compare. Though it’s a bit expensive as a “curiosity,” I finally bought it because it’s on sale at amazon for the lowest I’ve ever seen it, $413.

I guess we’ll see what turns out…

I want an LX5 sooooo baaaaad. $413 is a really good price–I might just have to upgrade my LX3! I hope Santa Claus is reading this.

Little Ms. Gluttony ~

I’ve been watching you.

You have been a very, very BAD girl this year.

Which means you absolutely get whatever you want.

Hmm, maybe in the new year if I’m really, really good. My camera really sucks.
